Henrique has particular interests in insomnia, phobias (including using virtual reality), social anxiety, ADHD, OCD, and helping people re-engage in fulfilling activities. Henrique offers optional ‘walk and talk’ sessions in a nearby nature trail for clients who feel more comfortable in this setting or wish to practice mindfulness skills in nature. Henrique uses Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness. Henrique speaks English and Portuguese.
Henrique is interested in the psychological benefits of nature, such as attention restoration, reduced stress, and increased present-moment awareness. Henrique conducted his Master of Psychology research on this topic.
