Edy is a Registered Psychologist with an immigrant background, having grown up in Australia. He understands the complexities of accessing mental health support and the challenges of finding the right therapist. He provides culturally sensitive care, ensuring clients feel understood and supported in their journey towards mental well-being.
Edy takes an honest, direct, and compassionate approach to therapy, creating a safe and collaborative space for clients to explore their emotions, develop self-awareness and build resilience. He works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder and intellectual disabilities, tailoring evidence-based interventions to meet their unique needs. His practice integrates a range of therapeutic approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
His areas of focus include trauma and complex PTSD (cPTSD), neurodiversity (ADHD, intellectual disability, etc.), mood and personality disorders, identity and cultural adjustment, emotional regulation, self-compassion and self-worth.
