Are you tired of feeling stuck? Do you want to find a way out of the loop of racing thoughts and constant bouts of panic? Dean could be your relief.
It is not only the theoretical knowledge that Dean gleaned from his bachelor’s degree in mental health, or even his empathetic, calm and caring nature but it is also his first hand experience of living with anxiety that will enable you to feel validated, heard and understood.
Dean creates a safe, supportive and judgement-free environment. He enables his clients to feel secure and confident in sharing their personal worries, fears and stressors. He works collaboratively with his clients to develop awareness and interventions that challenge thoughts and behaviours that are not serving them positively.
Working with adolescents and adults, Dean utilises Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help his clients achieve their therapeutic goals. He also draws on Attachment based, Solution Focused, Behaviour Modification, Exposure, Psychodynamic, Trauma focused and Person centred therapies to help to inform his practice.
Dean takes a holistic approach to address every aspect of a client’s life to heal past traumas and develop strategies for life moving forward. He strives to have every client experience the hope and opportunity they deserve.
Dean sees clients privately and his fee is $168 for a standard 50 minute session and $252 for a 50 minute couples counselling session.
