Mr Daniel Holt Psychologist

Daniel is a warm compassionate Manly psychologist who has a focus on establishing a strong rapport with his clients before using a holistic evidenced based approach to help them achieve their therapeutic goals. Daniel has a history of working in Child Protection services, headspace and private practices across the Greater Sydney area. Daniel is a Clinical Psychologist and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. Daniel works with a range of presentations including Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma and Stressor Related Disorders, substance-use and other addictive related disorders, body image concerns, and self-harming behaviours. Daniel also has experience in working with young people with behaviour concerns and procrastination difficulties. Daniel practices at Northern Beaches Psychology & Assessment primarily using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), but also uses alternative therapeutic interventions including Trauma focused CBT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Systemic Family Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) .
