Overview

Billy is a registered Psychologist based in the Northern Rivers of NSW. He provides professional support and advice to individuals, families and organisations who are experiencing difficulties with a variety of issues. Billy has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, however has a particular interest supporting individuals with development disabilities, acquired and traumatic brain injuries and mental health concerns. Billy’s experience also includes behavioural disorders; learning difficulties (including ADHD); and developmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Billy also has extensive experience working in the forensic area, having provided individual and group based interventions to individuals in secure and community forensic settings. Billy uses a warm and practical approach to foster reflection and personal development. His approach is to empower, educate and enhance individuals and families strengths to support goals through a range of therapeutic approaches. Billy has extensive training and experience in the use of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy as well as individual and group based emotional regulation training.
