Mosaic Myotherapy specialises in the evidence-based assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal pain and associated conditions. We place a high degree of importance on the value of achieving optimal mobility and function throughout life and work with people at all ages and stages of life, including people who are considering and/or recovering from surgery, pregnant women and new mums. We have a strong understanding of the needs of people who place additional strains on their bodies following following injury, surgery, disability or chronic illness. Practice interests and expertise include: * low back pain * neck and shoulder pain, especially that in office workers and students * osteoarthritis * fibromyalgia and other chronic pain complaints * tendinopathies We also see patients with sports injuries and generalised aches and pains, including muscle tightness and discomfort associated with over-use. Practice specialisations include: * utilisation of the whole-of-person approach in the assessment and management of chronic pain within a biopsychosocial context, in line with current NH&MRC, NICE, TAC and RACGP guidelines. * falls and balance assessment * balance training exercises * ergonomic assessment and education
