Overview

Andrea Ormazabal graduated as a Registered Osteopath in 2007. Working as a Nurse and Midwife for over a decade prior to practicing as an osteopath, has served as a valuable clinical base for her clinical practice. Post graduate qualifications in Obstetric and Paediatric Osteopathy allow Andrea too clinically assess and treat musculoskeletal injuries from the toddler to the senior, sporting injuries, pregnancy / postnatal related issues, Women's health, babies and children. Andrea is also qualified to use dry needling techniques which can compliment the hands on treatment for the use of trigger point, neurological and chronic pain referral. With a keen interest in exercise prescription and rehabilitation the focus of treatment embraces lifestyle factors - Home and workplace ergonomics, exercise and nutrition all of which are central to the holistic client centred approach to health. Treating a range of conditions areas of special interest include: Osteoarthritis, Whiplash, Biomechanical and Neurological conditions, Sports injuries, Seniors, Pregnancy and Infants. Andrea is also fluent in the Spanish language and is pleased to clarify all treatment approaches.
