Dr Breeana Souter

Psychologist

Breeana is a Clinical Psychologist who brings a gentle, safe and compassionate energy to the therapeutic space. She believes each person has within them the innate wisdom for their own growth potential and healing, and is honoured to walk beside them in that journey for a time. Breeana has experience working with young people, adults and families of all ages. She is especially passionate about working to support and empower women through adolescence and across the lifespan. Breeana values a holistic approach and has speciality interests in mindfulness meditation, EFT, compassion focused approaches, other somatic modalities and the mind-body connection. Breeana completed her Ph.D through Bond University, focusing on the development and evaluation of a mindfulness-based framework and intervention with emerging adult populations. Breeana has a passion for writing and teaching and is currently in the process of co-creating mindfulness and somatic-based training programs, and books and resources aimed at enhancing compassion and presence in young people

Stephen Souter

Stephen is a nationally recognized psychologist who has worked in clinical practice for over a decade. He has a calm, easy-going and friendly nature that fosters a sense of safety and openness. He believes in the limitless potential for all individuals to grow, expand and connect and that each person has a unique role and path in life which is to be celebrated. Stephen has extensive experience working with individuals and families of all ages in both the public and private sectors. He has specialised training in a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches including systemic family therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness based psychotherapy. Stephen has a special interest in teaching mindfulness practices and the integration of presence and compassion as a path to healing and health. He has undertaken extensive training from some of the worlds leading experts in the area, including Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. Stephen also has specialist expertise in working with neurodiversity and providing comprehensive and therapeutic neurocognitive assessments. Stephen is a board approved psychology supervisor and offers professional supervision, training and workshops both in person and online.
