Overview

Mary has experience in a range of settings working with children, adolescents, and adults. She maintains the client as the focal point whilst building a therapeutic, respectful and supportive relationship in a culturally safe environment. She seeks to create awareness, empower her clients to identify their strengths and apply strategies in order for them to live a meaningful life. She has supported clients in managing anxiety, depression, study and work stress, self-worth, life challenges and wellbeing. She uses a range of evidence-based interventions and when working with young children, Mary works closely with families to support attachment parenting and provide education. She is a trained facilitator of the Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) program. Mary has a keen interest in understanding evidence-based practice, and is currently enhancing her knowledge and skills through her Master’s studies in the area of Clinical Psychology.
