Marlee is a counsellor and psychotherapist with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in counselling. Marlee’s approach is person-centred with an emphasis on cultivating mindful curiosity and self-compassion. Marlee has a particular interest in supporting clients with relationship challenges, emotion regulation and identity assertion.
Marlee works collaboratively with clients to gently unpack personal narratives and emotional themes in order to gain clarity and insight into past and present concerns. Marlee believes that we all make perfect sense given our unique histories and experiences.
Marlee supports her own mental wellbeing with a dedicated meditation practice, journaling, reading and regular bush walks.
Drawing on a diverse pool of therapeutic frameworks—including attachment theory, depth psychology, parts work, polyvagal theory, and somatic practices—Marlee tailors her approach to fit the unique needs and experiences of each client.
