Marcos Benhamu Psychologist

Marcos is a psychologist with general registration at Enable Workplace Consulting and is currently working towards re-entering the field after a hiatus. Marcos comes to Enable with a renewed passion for psychology, that has grown since obtaining his master’s in clinical psychology a decade ago. His experiences in the intervening years, in other working environments, have inspired him to re-enter the profession. He is thrilled to be joining Enable as part of the dedicated team of people who are empowering others to thrive in their workplaces and personal lives. As a Psychologist, Marcos’ primary aim is to create a welcoming and validating space for his clients. His counselling style aims to be person-centred, providing a space for his clients to be listened to without judgement, and walk away with practical resources for meaningful change. Marcos is readily available for Telehealth or In Person sessions with new clients, offering low-cost, short wait-time appointments. He offers inclusive therapy that respects his clients’ background, including gender, race, social class, and sexual orientation. Marcos is interested in different therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
