“Empowering women with the nutrition tools they need to take back control of their bodies and feel like themselves again.” Hi, my name is Lizalet and I have been a dietitian for over 20 years. I recently made the transition to focus solely on women over 40 navigating perimenopause and menopause, given the great need I have encountered for nutrition education in this space (and being in this age group myself!). We now know that women over 40 need to change the way they eat and exercise due to key hormonal changes during this time. What you did a few years ago may not work for you anymore or you may have noticed some extra weight creeping up that you cannot shake. On top of this most women in in this age group complain of chronic lack of energy and just not feeling like themselves. This is why I have taken a deep dive into the menopause nutrition research and developed a nutrition and lifestyle toolbox to help women get their energy and vitality back through what can be a challenging time. My approach is practical with a focus on making sustainable changes to increase your health span and decrease your risk for diseases of lifestyle associated with aging and menopause. I am passionate about walking this road with you and guiding you to make the necessary changes so you can live healthier for longer and feel like yourself again!
