Kathryn is an experienced and passionate mental health OT, working in the field since her graduation from Curtin University in 2010. She has worked in a variety of public mental health settings, including inpatient and outpatient treatment teams, Day Therapy, and rehabilitation. She has extensive experience working in Early Intervention in Psychosis, and enjoys working with individuals who experience psychotic illness. She is also a proud LGBTQIA+ ally.
Kathryn enjoys supporting individuals to meaningfully engage in life activities throughout their recovery journey. She has a strong belief in strengths based work, supporting individuals to identify and use their unique skills and attributes. She has training and experience in a wide range of therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and the Hearing Voices Approach.
