I am an experienced trauma psychologist passionate about helping people restore their sense of self-worth and confidence in order to regain control over their lives. I work with a wide variety of adults and adolescents in crisis, and people experiencing ongoing mental health issues (such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD) as a result of adversity, trauma, and violence. I help to empower individuals who have experienced adversity and oppression, through exploring existing competencies, strengths and inherent resilience.
I am trauma-informed, person-centred, flexible and practical in my approach, ensuring you feel supported, and your individual needs are addressed. I maintain an open, non-judgmental environment, wherein I use a broad range of therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), strengths-based, person-centred, mindfulness, as well as creative art and narrative approaches.
