After many years of General Practice in Windsor (1980-1997), I commenced working exclusively in Psychological Medicine. I did this for 12 years in the Hawkesbury area and then worked in Castle Hill. I have a Psychological Medicine practice in Moss Vale. This building is known as the Moss Vale Professional Centre. I am accredited as a Level 2 provider of Focussed Psychological Strategies (FPS) under the Better Outcomes in Mental Health Care initiative. I have a number of post graduate qualifications in different areas of Individual, Couple and Family Therapy. I work with children as young as 4 years old and clients as old as 70+ years. Family and couple therapy is probably my main area of interest. In particular, how relationships impact on psychiatric illness and vice versa. Professionally, I’ve had a long association with the Australian Society for Psychological Medicine in different Committee and Education roles (www.aspm.org.au). The Society is now in the process of merging with the RACGP.
