Overview
Dr Rosemary Higgins is a Health Psychologist and registered supervisor. Rosemary works with adults and their families to help them cope with and manage the impact of health issues and other life changes.

Diagnosis with a major illness can challenge views about mortality and meaning. This can trigger both existential suffering and growth. Rosemary will help you to THRIVE, not just survive. Rosemary has expertise in cardiac and respiratory psychology, cancer, movement disorders, neurology, diabetes, dementia and carer’s issues.
In addition Rosemary sees people with adult ADHD to help them cope with the challenges of this condition.
As well as working with individuals, she enjoys working with couples and the broader family unit to support improved functioning. Rosemary is trained in family therapy as well as ACT therapy, alongside other approaches.
Rosemary lectures at The University of Melbourne, Swinburne University and the Institute for Social Neurosciences and is an Hon Assoc Professor at Deakin University, Alongside clinical practice, she is an active researcher working for the Australian Centre for Heart Health developing innovative interventions.
