Ange is an APTA registered Play Therapist and Early Childhood Teacher. She is passionate about empowering children through play & facilitating tools for self-agency. Anna Clarke(They/them)

Psychologist

Collaborating closely with clients and families, Anna follows a client-centred, strengths-based, and Neurodivergent-Affirming approach to therapy. Anna can support clients experiencing a wide range of presentations including post-traumatic stress disorder, aggression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, depression, emotion regulation difficulties and attachment-related difficulties. Anna is also passionate about supporting Autistic and ADHD folk. Anna has a particular interest in supporting survivors of family violence and sexual assault, having previously worked as a sexual assault crisis counsellor for two years. Anna has pursued advanced training in EMDR therapy, earning EMDRAA Accredited Consultant certification. Anna uses evidence-based treatments including EMDR therapy, Schema Therapy, Imagery Rescripting, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

Catherine Bishop(She/her)

Catherine is one of our Senior Clinical Psychologist at HMC. She works with clients across the lifespan, however particularly enjoys working with adults and older adults. She is able to work with clients with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety and phobias, depression, PTSD, OCD, and eating disorders. Catherine is especially passionate about assisting people to recover from trauma and supporting people experiencing grief and loss. She also enjoys working with people to improve their self-image, including body image and relationship with food. Catherine is also able to provide assessment services and especially enjoys assessments for neurodivergence. She is passionate about helping neurodivergent individuals to better understand themselves and to be able to embrace their unique qualities.

Elly is a Provisional Psychologist currently studying a Master of Clinical Psychology at UTAS. Elly loves interacting with all people and finds joy in making meaningful connections with clients. She is passionate about assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of neuropsychological disorders that affect learning, memory, attention, and decision-making. Elly is not currently accepting new referrals.

Isabelle Goodwin(She/her)

Dietitian

Izzy is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC). She is experienced in supporting clients with eating disorders, particularly binge eating disorder (BED), as well as food intolerance, IBS, and emotional eating. Izzy fosters a non-diet approach towards eating, with a focus on building habits and behaviours that support physical and mental health. She is committed to helping her clients feel empowered to become fearless eaters and confident in their own skin.

Warwick is a Provisionally Registered Psychologist currently completing his Master of Professional Psychology at the University of Tasmania. Warwick brings a wealth of life experience to his role at HMC. Warwick has an empathetic approach, and he likes to bring the best out in people. His current focus is on assessments for neurodivergence, such as ADHD, autism, and learning differences. He is also eager to develop skills in Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Bec is a Registered Psychologist who enjoys working across the lifespan with a range of different client presentations. Bec also has experience in assessing and diagnosing developmental disorders including global developmental delay, intellectual disability, specific learning disorders, and autism. Bec is currently on extended leave.

Steph is a Provisional Psychologist who has completed a Masters of Professional Psychology. She also has a Graduate Diploma in Counselling and experience in the Community Sector working with people experiencing homelessness and family violence. Steph works from a client-centred, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach. She is passionate about providing a safe and neuroaffirming therapeutic space and using evidence-based practices to assist people to find meaning and wellbeing in their lives. Steph does not currently offer Medicare rebates.
