Dr Lauren Hanegraaf(She/her)

Psychologist

Lauren (she/her) is a psychologist who works with adults experiencing anxiety and mood disorders, trauma (including PTSD), ADHD, ASD, complex family and relationship dynamics, and identity issues. Lauren’s clients often say they feel anxious, overwhelmed, and down. Some also struggle with self-criticism, shame, self-doubt, and feel unsure of who they are and what they want out of life. Many find themselves feeling disconnected in their relationships, or struggling to navigate difficult relationship issues. Lauren’s clients might also feel stuck in painful experiences from the past, and find themselves unable to let go or move forward. They often feel on edge or frequently triggered by things in their everyday life. These experiences may have left them with a negative view of themselves, other people, and the world at large. Lauren works collaboratively with her clients to help them get unstuck, feel more connected and fulfilled in their relationships, and live a happier and more meaningful life. She draws on techniques from Schema Therapy, Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and attachment-based approaches.
