Sharon holds a Bachelor of Podiatry from the University of Newcastle and has extensive experience in all aspects of podiatric foot care. She previously served as a clinical supervisor for podiatry students at the University of Newcastle’s teaching clinic at Wyong Hospital for three years. Expanding her expertise, she completed a Pedorthics degree at Southern Cross University on the Gold Coast, specialising in the design of medical-grade footwear and orthotic appliances.
With a deep understanding of orthopedic footwear, Sharon assists in the treatment of diabetic, arthritic, and neurological conditions in both adults and children. She is a registered NDIS provider, accredited with the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, and accepts Chronic Disease Management Plans (EPC referrals) from General Practitioners.
Committed to resolving foot pain with a holistic approach, Sharon considers gait and posture when prescribing footwear and orthotic appliances. She is known for her attention to detail, providing comprehensive assessments, clear diagnoses, and tailored management plans that often include orthotics, exercises, and footwear advice. Dedicated to ongoing learning, Sharon continues to pursue further study as part of her professional development while delivering high-quality general podiatry services.
