She is a registered teacher and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Bernadette has been trained in several evidence based approaches- the most recent being Cognitive Processing Therapy which treats issues related to trauma and mood disorders. Bernadette has worked in a range of education and psychology settings with clients including children, adolescents and adults. She has extensive experience working with people with disabilities, intellectual disabilities, mood disorders, adverse childhood experiences and interpersonal challenges. She has worked in a range of settings including mainstream and alternative education settings, non government organisations and private practice.
