Genevieve is a warm and compassionate clinician who creates a safe and nurturing space for her clients. She has experience in counselling individuals who are dealing with a wide range of challenges including trauma, relationship breakdowns, personality difficulties, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, low self-esteem, and grief and loss. Genevieve considers the unique challenges of each individual and works in a collaborative way to help cultivate their strengths and overcome their challenges. Genevieve uses an integrative approach to therapy, employing a variety of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Interpersonal Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. She collaborates closely with clients to establish a comfortable and trusting relationship, tailoring therapy together to best meet a client’s needs. Genevieve draws from a wide range of personal and professional experience and training to help people reach their goals.
