Miss Della Tanri

Psychologist

Della is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and holds a Master’s degree in Educational and Developmental Psychology. She brings extensive experience from her work across school and community health settings, supporting individuals of all ages with a wide range of mental health and neurodevelopmental concerns. Fluent in English, Indonesian, conversational Mandarin, and Hokkien, Della is passionate about serving culturally and linguistically diverse communities with empathy and understanding. Dedicated to fostering growth and helping clients reach their full potential, Della adopts a neuro-affirming approach, particularly in her work with neurodivergent clients. She strives to create an inclusive, supportive, and empowering environment, ensuring clients feel understood and valued. Della integrates a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, tailoring her methods to suit each client’s unique needs. Her expertise includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, and mindfulness-based practices. She has a particular passion for supporting neurodivergent children and adolescents in overcoming challenges and building resilience. Mr Edy Xie

Psychologist

Edy is a Registered Psychologist with an immigrant background, having grown up in Australia. He understands the complexities of accessing mental health support and the challenges of finding the right therapist. He provides culturally sensitive care, ensuring clients feel understood and supported in their journey towards mental well-being. Edy takes an honest, direct, and compassionate approach to therapy, creating a safe and collaborative space for clients to explore their emotions, develop self-awareness and build resilience. He works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder and intellectual disabilities, tailoring evidence-based interventions to meet their unique needs. His practice integrates a range of therapeutic approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). His areas of focus include trauma and complex PTSD (cPTSD), neurodiversity (ADHD, intellectual disability, etc.), mood and personality disorders, identity and cultural adjustment, emotional regulation, self-compassion and self-worth. Ms Karen Kam(She/her)

Psychologist

Karen is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and was previously a Clinical Psychologist overseas in Hong Kong. She has completed a Master of Social Science in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology overseas and is re-registering in Australia. Karen has experience working in community health settings with people of all ages across the lifespan with various presenting mental health concerns. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and she has a keen interest in working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Karen values the potential, vitality, and resilience in everyone and strives to work with individuals to enhance self-compassion and growth. Bringing in her compassionate and gentle qualities, she focuses on fostering a safe, strong, and supportive therapeutic alliance that allows for the uncovering and flourishing of one’s potential. Karen works from an eclectic approach in therapy. She draws on a number of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, mindfulness-based practices, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). The flexibility in the multifaceted approach to therapy allows her to use a mix of effective methods available to address each individual’s needs. Through her professional practice, she believes in taking a collaborative approach to helping individuals reach their goals and is committed to supporting individuals towards growth and empowerment.
