As a clinical psychologist, my focus is on helping you navigate the complexities of your experiences. I have particular interest in working with trauma, including PTSD, complex PTSD, sexual abuse, dissociation, and traumatic early life events. My main therapeutic approach combines psychodynamic and psychoanalytic traditions, particularly Lacanian, with modern techniques such as EMDR. This allows for a deep exploration of your past while also facilitating practical, evidence-based pathways toward healing. In our work together, I aim to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported. We’ll focus on uncovering deeper patterns and meanings behind your experiences, while also addressing how to create meaningful change in your present life. Trust and collaboration are central to my practice, and I strive to ensure that our therapeutic relationship empowers you to move forward. In our work together, you will be heard. In addition to my clinical work, I am dedicated to advancing the field of psychology through various professional roles. I am the Chair of the Australian Psychological Society’s Melbourne Branch and sit on the Scientific Committee of EMDR Australia. I also serve as an honorary clinical lecturer at the University of Melbourne, lecture at the Australian Catholic University, and am a board-approved supervisor, guiding the next generation of psychologists. Through these roles, I contribute to the growth of both the profession and those we serve.
