I have always been interested in people's stories and how our experiences shape us as individuals. Therapy, in my opinion, is a special space where individuals can feel safe to explore vulnerabilities, gain new perspectives, and overcome obstacles to build the life they want. As your psychologist, I will work with you in a down-to-earth, compassionate, and collaborative way to help you achieve your desired outcomes.
I have over a decade of experience working with young people, families and adults across public and private settings. My therapeutic framework is largely informed by Schema Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. These evidence-based frameworks are useful in helping individuals to understand and resolve unhelpful patterns underlying emotional distress, relationship difficulties and negative self-worth.
