Sally’s fascinated by people and is passionate about helping her clients uncover their true preferred picture. She applies counselling, coaching, and psychological assessment techniques to help clients navigate social, emotional, and learning difficulties. She is person-centred and uses practical skill-building approaches to help people uncover rich insights about who they are, and what they want. Sally’s empathetic approach creates a safe environment for her clients to explore, discover, change, and grow.
Sally conducts assessments to determine a person’s strengths and weaknesses and inform practical intervention planning across family and education settings. She also provides counselling services that selectively draw upon relevant therapeutic approaches including schema therapy, strengths-based therapy, and cognitive behaviour therapy, to guide clients toward their desired outcomes. Sally is passionate about advocating for the needs of her clients to help ensure they are well supported.
Sally completed a Doctor of Psychology program at Monash University and is currently undertaking further specialist training in Educational and Developmental Psychology at Monash University. Sally’s doctoral thesis explored how to create harmonious relationships between different cultural groups by uncovering mechanisms and interventions that meaningfully reduce covert prejudice, dehumanisation, and discrimination.
