Dr. Rebekah Alcock is an ANZAED Credentialed Eating Disorder Dietitian with extensive qualifications and experience in clinical nutrition, sports performance, and mental health. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sports Nutrition from the Australian Institute of Sport and is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) and Accredited Sports Dietitian (AdvSD). Her academic achievements also include a Bachelor of Public Health (Nutrition), a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics (Management), and a Bachelor of Nutrition (Honours). In 2024, she plans to further her expertise by commencing a Graduate Diploma in Neuroscience and Mental Health.
Dr. Alcock has a strong interest in supporting individuals’ mental health through nutrition, eating disorder recovery and holistic health. She has completed training in the RAVES eating model and the “Community Training for Dietitians: The Essentials” program from the InsideOut Institute for Eating Disorders. Currently, she is furthering her expertise through the Eating Disorders in Sport course. With a strong commitment to the principles of inclusivity and Health At Every Size (HAES), Dr. Alcock ensures her care is rooted in compassion, respect, and the individual needs of each client.
Throughout her career, Dr. Alcock has worked across private practice, high-performance sports, and academia. She has extensive experience in clinical roles, research, and teaching, allowing her to integrate evidence-based knowledge with practical care to empower clients. Her empathetic and patient-centered approach creates a safe and supportive environment, where clients feel respected and valued as they work toward their health and well-being goals.
