Dr Oladipo Sorungbe Psychiatrist

Dr Sorungbe is a medical practitioner with over 20 years’ experience working exclusively in psychiatry. He completed is postgraduate training in forensic psychiatry in the UK, where he worked in the NHS for many years before relocating to Melbourne. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK (MRCPsych). His areas of interest include: • Assessment and management of diverse and complex psychiatric conditions ranging from Psychotic disorders, Mood disorders, Neurodevelopmental disorders (such as ADHD) and personality disorders. • Assessment and management of risk using structured professional judgement and risk assessment tools like the HCR-20, RSVP and START. • Psychiatric and Medico legal Reports. • Forensic mental health • Experience and training in psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural and dialectical behavioural therapy.
