Dr Mosadek Miah Consultant Psychiatrist BSc (Med), MBBS, FRANZCP Working Experience Dr Miah was raised in Sydney and obtained his medical degree from The University of NSW, graduating in 2000. He spent several years working as a Career Medical Officer in public hospital settings, gaining broad medical experience before embarking on formal psychiatric specialty training. Dr Miah undertook psychiatric placements in a wide range of hospital and community settings, gaining experience in various subspecialty areas including acute and emergency psychiatry, old age and rehabilitation psychiatry, adolescent psychiatry and perinatal psychiatry. Dr Miah was granted fellowship of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2018. He commenced private practice as a VMO Psychiatrist at St John of God Burwood Hospital and Medical Centre. Dr Miah has also undertaken VMO Psychiatrist appointments with Mosman Private Hospital and Northern Beaches Hospital.
