Dr. Kayla Steele, Ph.D, is a Clinical Psychologist who is particularly interested in working with adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma, personality disorder or difficulties with identity, emotional regulation, and relationships. She has experience working in a range of different public and private mental health settings, such as community mental health, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, university settings and crisis centres. Kayla believes it is important to tailor her treatment approach based on the needs of the individual and is comfortable working with a range of different modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Transference Focussed Psychotherapy. She welcomes individuals of all gender and sexual orientations, identities, and expressions, as well as individuals, couples and families.
