Grace is a registered educational and developmental psychologist and Member of the Australian Educational and Developmental Psychology Association who has experience working across both school and clinical settings. Grace is experienced in, and passionate about, providing autism spectrum disorder (ASD) assessments, particularly with gender diverse young people and girls/females assigned at birth, as well we providing WPATH assessments for trans people over the age of 16. Grace is also experienced in providing psychological assessments across a range of other concerns including attention regulation difficulties, learning difficulties, behavioural regulation challenges, and adaptive functioning difficulties.
Grace is familiar with using a range of therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioural therapy, gender-affirming therapy techniques, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness. She is particularly interested in working with gender diverse young people and LGBTQI+ communities.
Grace completed a Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) combined with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program at Monash University. Grace’s PhD focused on exploring the mental health and school counselling experiences of transgender young people and psychologists within Australian secondary schools.
