Dr Deanne Smart Acupuncturist

Deanne cares deeply for her patients. Her interest in Chinese medicine came after a difficult major life change, through which qigong and taoist meditation practices provided immeasurable healing. This experience led her to study the theory behind these practices through Chinese Medicine, and to pass on these benefits to others. It is her heartfelt wish to help others going though difficult times, as well as provide care and support for her patients general healthcare concerns. She graduated a five year double bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Chinese Medicine (BHs/BAs Chinese Medicine) with distinction, at RMIT University in Melbourne. She is registered under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).
