Amy is a clinical psychologist based in the Sydney metropolitan area. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, families, and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties. She has a particular interest in providing treatment and support for anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, sleep issues, and procrastination. Amy is also proficient in delivering treatment for child and adolescent difficulties, such as emotion dysregulation, behavioural difficulties, and bullying.
Amy aims to create a warm and relaxed environment for individuals to explore and process their concerns, as well as learn new skills to overcome these difficulties and achieve their goals.
Amy draws from a range of evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT, dialectical behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, schema therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, and parent management training. She takes on a collaborative approach to therapy, matching different techniques to the needs and preferences of the individual. Amy’s clinical practice is also informed by her work as a clinician at the Westmead Anxiety Treatment and Research Unit.
Amy is fully registered as a clinical psychologist (PSY0002100832) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is also a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA), the Anxiety Practitioners Network (APN), and the Australian Association for Cognitive and Behaviour Therapy (AACBT). The practice has two main fee types: (1) Standard fee before Medicare rebate (11:30am to 5pm) at $230.00 and (2) After-hours fee before Medicare rebate (before 9am and after 5pm) at $250.00.
