As a highly accomplished Registered Nurse, my career has spanned across the UK and Australia. I began my professional journey in England, where I completed my Registered Nurse training. Following this, I attained my Registered Sick Children’s Nursing qualification in Glasgow, Scotland.
My career has been marked by significant leadership roles, including several years as a Nurse Manager overseeing both Paediatric and Adult services in metropolitan and rural areas within England. I later returned to Australia and became a Credentialed Diabetes Educator in 2013, initially working in Melbourne.
My expertise led me to an esteemed position at the Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism (OCDEM) in Oxford, UK. At OCDEM, I had the opportunity to collaborate with leading endocrinologists, research teams, and specialist diabetes educators, further honing my skills and knowledge.
After three years at OCDEM, I returned to Melbourne, taking on the role of Diabetes Education Nurse Manager for Alfred Health. Over the next six years, I made significant contributions to diabetes care and education.
Now transitioning to private practice, I remain dedicated to empowering individuals with diabetes. I am passionate about exploring innovative methods to improve health outcomes, enhance self-management confidence, and leverage technology for better glucose control.
