Alessandra Rigoli(She/her)

Dietitian

Availability: Tue and Sat (both Chatswood and online). Alessandra is a qualified Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) who is passionate about supporting people in fostering positive relationships with food and their bodies. Alessandra began dancing as soon as she could walk, and continued into full-time dance training at Ev & Bow after completing high school. She adored the combination of artistry and athleticism involved in dance, and was interested in how to properly fuel and nourish to perfom at her best. Her unfortunate experiences of distorted body image and disordered eating behaviours among dancers in the industry was the driving force behind her pursuit in becoming a dietitian. She is passionate about making meaningful changes within the dance industry and fostering positive and supportive environments that promote nourishment and embraces the diversity of dancers. She is also currently involved in research at the University of Sydney that aims to understand eating behaviours and nutrition knowledge in dancers in order to appropriately support their health, wellbeing, training and performance. In her free time, Alessandra loves to cuddle with her dog or go to a dance class. She loves to learn and continue to develop her skills and knowledge to best support her clients.

Dietitian

Fumi is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician with expertise in Eating Disorders Treatment and supporting Dancer's Health. Her work is grounded in Health At Every Size (R) principles and advocates for respectful and safer treatment of all body sizes and shapes. Fumi is trained in the RAVES nutritional rehabilitation model, MI, ACT, CBT-E and FBT, and utilises her knowledge and skills to deliver individualised nutritional care.

Kimberlee Smee

Kimberlee is a qualified Accredited Practicing Dietitian & Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician, who firmly believes that everyone has the right to have a peaceful relationship with food and their body, free of anxiety, fear, guilt and shame. She practices using the Non-Diet Approach within the weight neutral, Health At Every Size paradigm. Through her work, Kimberlee is interested in helping her clients to understand their relationship with food, eating and their body to shift any unhelpful behaviours that are impacting on their lives. She has focussed her professional development on building a specialised skill set to support her clients in the recovery from clinical eating disorders, disordered eating behaviours, recovery from chronic dieting and improving body image. She also provides education and information about healthy living and eating where it is helpful for her clients so that they are able to make the best choices for them and their health into the future. If Kimberlee hadn’t gotten into health and nutrition, she would probably have become a car magazine journalist or stunt driver, or an author, or run an animal rescue organisation, or maybe even a cartoon artist... As it is, she have a house full of rescue animals, and in her free time she enjoys writing and drawing, as well as driving and working on her car.

Kirby Olliver(She/her)

Kirby (she/her) is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician who approaches her work with compassion, patience and non-judgement. Kirby firmly believes that each of client is the expert of their own lived experience, and works collaboratively to support her clients through their own unique recoveries from eating disorders, disordered eating or underfuelling. Through working with Kirby, clients are supported to explore their relationship with food and body develop strategies to step toward a more peaceful and nourishing life. Kirby is a proud non-diet Health at Every Size (HAES®) dietitian who prioritises inclusivity. She is particularly passionate about providing clients with positive, affirming experiences with health care professionals, and practices within a trauma-informed framework. Kirby also offers specialist support for athletes, dancers, and performing artists. Kirby completed her own dance training at The Australian College of Physical Education, where she continues to work as a nutrition lecturer. Kirby is an advocate for body respect and mental health in sport, and incorporates this into both her teaching and dietetic practice. Kirby is also an enthusiastic learner, and continually engages in professional development, mentoring and supervision to further her practice. In her spare time, Kirby can be found playing sport, dancing, or chasing after her two cats!
