• Competence in psychological techniques, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT); Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR); Schema Therapy; Interpersonal Therapy and Process; Attachment Theory and Psychodynamic Approaches; administration of Psychometric Assessments and assessments of Clinical Symptoms Severity
• Counselling-related services and on-site support including risk management and crisis response
• General EAP and well-being counselling
• Experience working with presentations of: anxiety, depression, stress, behavioural changes, relationship issues, low confidence, personality issues, family issues, child issues, attachment issues, emotion management and coping, building resilience, grief and loss, abuse, shame, trauma, vulnerability, aggressive behaviour and anger management
Workers’ Compensation – Support Counselling
• Provision of counselling that aims to identify and provide strategies to address barriers to assist the client with returning to work
• Successful graduation of support counselling clients back into the workplace; and
• Liaising with different parties to maximise their capacity to successfully return to work
