Heather has experience working for private hospitals and clinics and obtained her Bachelor of Science with honours degree from the Polytechnic University in Hong Kong in 2014.
She was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Vancouver, Canada. Prior to practising as a physiotherapist, she worked as a Kinesiologist and a fitness instructor with a degree in Human Kinetics (the study of movement) majoring in Health and Fitness from the University of British Columbia. Heather often combines her knowledge in exercise therapy with manual therapy to help her clients with musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain.
Heather was diagnosed with scoliosis at a young age, the combination of exercise therapy and a brace saved her from surgery. She is dedicated to using exercise therapy to help clients with scoliosis. Heather completed her DMA Pilates training with Craig Philips in Melbourne in 2016. Since then, she has used Pilates exercises to help her clients to recover from their injuries. She also completed her 200 hrs foundation Iyengar Yoga Teacher Training with Patrick Creelman in Hong Kong in 2021 and has been teaching Yoga since 2023.
Heather offers one on one rehabilitation exercise therapy as well as ergonomic assessment.
Outside of the clinic and yoga, Heather is interested in all sports (running, swimming, basketball, volleyball, badminton and tennis). She enjoys spending time with her husband on long walks and cosying up with her two adopted cats from Hong Kong.
