Dr Claire Manton's empathic and collaborative approach creates a safe space for clients to explore and navigate their internal worlds. She has long been dedicated to fostering the wellbeing of children, adolescents, and adults. Claire's therapeutic approach has a relational emphasis. She works with school-aged children, adolescents, and adults on a range of issues including: Anxiety Depression Burnout and stress Life transitions Experiences of grief and loss Parenting Relationship issues Attachment disturbances Emotion regulation and overwhelm At the centre of Claire's therapeutic philosophy is the significance of authentic connections in the therapeutic process. Claire's work in psychotherapy and counselling is primarily based in psychoanalytic and attachment theories, but also incorporates somatic, cognitive, and existential theories and approaches.  Claire has had an extensive career in education, which includes teaching and leading wellbeing in primary schools, and teaching both undergraduate and master’s students at university. Along with her therapeutic work, Claire currently works in educational research at Monash University.
