Charlotte is a fully registered psychologist with AHPRA and a member with the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPI).
Charlotte has experience working within perinatal, paediatrics, parenting, mood disorders and trauma. She has a special interest in perinatal and assessments (both child + adult) and thoroughly enjoys working with children and parents.
Charlotte has been described as being nurturing, empathetic and warm. Additionally, she is a strong advocate for her clients. Having worked across the lifespan and across varying clinical positions, Charlotte has demonstrated an effortless ability to connect and attune with individuals from all walks of life with her friendly and approachable disposition.
Charlotte is passionate about establishing strong client – therapist relationships and understands that genuine connection is one of the core foundations needed for success in therapy. She ensures all individuals feel safe, supported and empowered and believes all emotions are safe to be felt.
Charlotte’s approach usually includes a combination of Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
Charlotte works within a strengths based approach which means finding the little wins and celebrating those often with her clients. She values feedback and engages in regular self-reflection to ensure she is adequately meeting the needs of all clients.
