Overview

Hi, I’m Carolina, an AHPRA Registered Psychologist with a special interest in depression, anxiety, and trauma-related issues. I have significant experience working with individuals from migrant backgrounds and those affected by Family and Domestic Violence. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, which I obtained in 2015. My extensive experience in the community sector includes working on women’s mental health, youth services, and NGOs. This diverse background has given me a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by these populations. In my practice, I utilize a client-centered, strengths-based work model, always engaging from a trauma-informed approach. I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can develop coping strategies and understand how trauma or upbringing affects their emotional well-being and behavior. Together, we set individualized goals to improve overall well-being. I accept referrals for children (age 7 and up), teens, and adults. I warmly welcome LGBTIQ+ and gender-diverse individuals, as well as clients from non-English speaking backgrounds. Being fluent in both English and Spanish, I am able to provide services in either language. I am available for appointments from Monday through Thursday and look forward to supporting you on your journey to better mental health.
