I believe that everyone deserves to lead a happy and healthy life, whatever that may look like for them. Sometimes a mental illness, difficult life transition, or simply “feeling stuck,” can get in the way of that. I aim to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore and reflect on what you want out of therapy, and together, we can figure out how to get you there.
I am privileged to work with people from different walks of life, with various challenges, such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and past trauma. I like to use a blend of evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy (ST), while also allowing for flexibility and creativity, depending on what is right for you. My interpersonal style is warm and curious, but I’m not afraid to gently challenge you if you need it!
Recovery and healing can be hard work, so having the right psychologist in your corner can make all the difference. I hope that in our work together, you can feel empowered to make the changes you wish to see.
