Bronwyn Bersey

Psychologist

Bronwyn is a registered psychologist whose initial training included a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Honours), and a Doctor of Psychology (Forensic). She subsequently worked in the women's prison system providing both group and individual therapy for 8 years. Bronwyn has nine years’ experience working in the tertiary education sector as a student counsellor at Federation University. She has continued to further her education, undertaking a Graduate Certificate in Aboriginal Studies, and a Certificate IV in Grief and Bereavement in recent years. Bronwyn endeavours to empower her clients to overcome obstacles and develop resilience. She has a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental approach to counselling and aims to work collaboratively with clients to develop insight and facilitate positive change. She has experience working with individuals with a range of different presenting issues including mood and anxiety disorders, grief, stress and sleep difficulties. Bronwyn has a background in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) but uses a multi-faceted approach to meet the needs of her clients.

Mr Jonathan Fahey

Social Worker

Jonathan attained his qualifications in Clinical Social Work in Missouri USA. Initially working with adults incarcerated within Saint Louis County Jail, he returned to Australia to specialise in mental health. Over the past eight years he has worked in the areas of addiction and complex care. Jonathan is passionate about working with the impacts of trauma and promoting internal healing. Furthermore, he assists people to overcome difficulties such as addictions, anger, hopelessness, anxiety, depression and to overall feel better about themselves, their life and things that have or are happening to them. He is experienced in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention and Self-Compassion, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, and the Comprehensive Resource Model. Jonathan is available for adults and older persons. We are unable to accept bookings for children, teens or couples.

Ms Cate Noy(She/her)

Counsellor

Cate is a registered Clinical Family Therapist with the Australian Association of Family Therapists (AAFT) and a Level 4 Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). Cate also holds accreditation as a clinical supervisor with ACA and has a Masters degree in Family Studies. Cate specializes in relationship and family issues and has been working individually with adults, teens and children, families and couples for over 15 years. Her approach is client centred using various adaptations of modalities that best suits the client’s needs and presentations. She looks forward to meeting and working with you in a relational and collaborative approach for best therapeutic and sustainable outcomes for your presenting issues and circumstances.

Terri-lee Hill

Social Worker

Terri-lee Hill is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and has worked over many years with children, youth, adults, families and groups in family services, in senior roles in clinical mental health services and in private practice as a mental health clinician. Terri-lee practices a range of focused psychological strategies and psychological therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Terri-lee offers individual therapy, groups, consultation, corporate and professional training and clinical supervision for health professionals. Terri-lee is located in Traralgon and offers online individual and group services to clients all over Australia. Terri-lee's is available for 15 year+, adults and older persons seeking to access DBT.
