Michael is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with 40 years of experience working across a diverse range of settings, in respect to a wide variety of presenting issues. He places particular importance on establishing a warm and trusting professional relationship and a ‘safe’ place in which to work with clients. Much of Michael’s work has been with people who have had adverse childhood experiences, particularly emotional, physical and sexual abuse, which have impacted upon their adult lives. He is skilled in drawing out the impacts of such trauma on personal functioning and relationships, helping clients to manage their emotions, and develop new ways of being both within themselves and with others

Natalie is a Registered Psychologist and the Managing Director at Aurora Therapy. Natalie currently works Monday through to Saturday. Natalie primarily works from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy approach, with aspects of Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and general counselling. Natalie specialises in Disability Focused Therapy. She works with children aged 8 years and older, through to adults. Natalie works with a wide range of presenting issues.

Nives completed her Bachelor of Arts (Psych) and Bachelor of Social Work at the University of Sydney. As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 25 years’ clinical and therapeutic counselling experience, she has worked in a variety of professional settings. She has trained in counselling modalities of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Cognitive Behaviour (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapies, Relaxation Management and Pregnancy Support counselling. Nives incorporates a warm, person - centred approach in her counselling sessions and enjoys working with clients from all cultures and socio-economic backgrounds.

Rebecca is an occupational therapist with almost 15 years of experience specialising in mental health, specifically individual and group counselling and psychosocial and community rehabilitation. Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and emotion regulation have become a focus in her clinical work. As an occupational therapist, she is interested in the impact of sensory patterns and preferences on a person’s everyday life. In practice, Rebecca uses a combination of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Sensory Modulation Strategies, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Rebecca has also received training in Couples and Family Therapy.
