Ashley is a clinical psychologist who uses a grounded and warm approach to help clients practically manage challenges they face in the short and long term, and to improve their overall wellbeing. He is keenly interested in working with adults and adolescents facing mood and anxiety disorders, interpersonal and relationship challenges, grief and loss, substance and behavioural addictions, and adult attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism.
He has gained diverse clinical experience working in settings including private practice, telehealth clinics, community-based disability services, and charities and non-profit organisations, providing therapy in both one-on-one and group formats. He draws on a flexible combination of evidence-based treatment modalities to tailor therapy to his clients’ individual needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing.
Ashley holds full registration as a psychologist (PSY0002179719) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
The practice has two main fee types: (1) Standard fee before Medicare rebate (9:00am to 4:30pm) at $250, and (2) out-of-office hours fee before Medicare rebate (4:30pm onwards) at $270.
