A’Dele provides evidence-based interventions to benefit individuals and groups. She has experience assisting drought affected families across southern Queensland and has provided psychological services in both private and public settings including the provision of school-based interventions in Queensland metropolitan, regional, and rural regions. With a special interest in psychological assessment, analysis and reporting, A’Dele provides excellent consultancy for individuals experiencing difficulties associated with memory, learning, attention, problem solving, behaviour, and developmental disorders. A’Dele applies developmental and neurobiological knowledge of the brain to design evidence-based treatments to assist clients to enhance their cognitive, behavioural and emotional functioning. As a scientist-practitioner, A’Dele has applied her psychological knowledge, theory and skills to improve the well-being of rural women across western Queensland, and has developed psychological knowledge and skills to assist both children and adults who have experienced trauma. A’Dele is trained in a range of therapeutic techniques including, Acceptance and Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and facilitates the Circle of Security Parenting Awareness program. These skills enable A’Dele to assess, diagnose and treat children and adults presenting with a variety of mental health concerns (i.e., Anxiety, Depression, Anger, Substance abuse, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and Personality Disorders).
