Anya has recently completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology and undergoing her registration for Clinical endorsement. Anya originally completed her training as a psychologist in Ireland and worked in a primary care service for adults presenting with significant mental health issues.
Since moving to Australia, Anya has had a range of diverse roles including working with children and adolescents identified as at risk for mental health concerns and providing psychological treatment to pain management patients involved in Curtin University's research on the effectiveness of Cognitive Functional Therapy. In private practice here at Ashcliffe, Anya has a special interest in the areas of expressive therapies, Jungian psychology and Schema Therapy as well as EMDR for Trauma and PTSD treatment. Anya's treatment modalities also include CBT, Existentialism, ACT, solution focussed brief therapy and positive psychology.
In her spare time Anya is an accredited Yoga instructor and loves to surf.
