I am a registered Psychologist, recently transitioned into private practice, currently based in Daw Park, South Australia. From mid 2018 till March 2024 I had the privilege of working with current serving and former serving members of the Australian Defence Force, as well as their family members with Open Arms (Veterans & Families Counselling). A great deal of my role was centred around supporting adjustment post discharge as well as providing evidence-based trauma-focused interventions for PTSD and Moral injury. I am well connected to Veteran specific services and plan on continuing to provide psychological support to this population via ADF/Bupa pathway or DVA’s Gold Card and the White Card. Prior to working with ADF members / Veterans, I worked within a general private practice setting providing treatment for individuals referred via the Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative. I have also been trained in addiction counselling, having worked for the Drug and Alcohol Services of SA (DASSA) as well as sexual assault training /treatment for Complex PTSD with the NSW sexual Assault Service.
