Overview

Angel completed her Master of Psychology (Clinical) at Australian Catholic University. She also has a Master of Science in Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology and over 13 years of experience as a psychologist. Angel has spent the last decade working with young people involved in the criminal justice system and their families. She also has a special interest in perinatal and infant mental health, and is passionate about supporting women who have experienced pregnancy complications and loss, birth trauma or have post-natal depression and anxiety. Angel is a warm and compassionate psychologist. She has extensive experience delivering evidence-based treatments for depression, anxiety, addiction, complex trauma and personality disorders. She uses the modalities of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectic Behavioural Therapy in her practice. She is also informed by psychodynamic approaches and has a special interest in attachment and its impact on child and adult mental well-being.
