Amira is a mental health counsellor and a certified trauma professional. Amira also specialised in two advanced majors - Child Development and Parenting Skills, and Relationship Counselling and Conflict Resolution. Her goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and relaxed environment for children, adolescents, and young adults aged 5-25 to explore and overcome the challenges they face. Amira has a deep passion for assisting children who are affected by autism and she is dedicated to supporting clients who are eligible for coverage under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and their plans.
For adolescents and young adults, I offer counseling services to help them manage their mental health and address issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, body dysmorphia and self-esteem management. My approach integrates evidence-based techniques, including CBT, ACT and SFT, to support them in navigating the challenges they face.
I offer online sessions via tele-health or in person sessions. I aim to provide a safe, comfortable and relaxed space for children, adolescents and young adults (aged 5-25) to work through life's challenges.
