Overview

As a psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), I have extensive experience providing psychological support and implementing interventions. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings, including government, not-for-profit organizations, primary and secondary education, and private practice. My experience has developed my passion for working with adolescents and young adults experiencing a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, attachment issues, personality disorders, school issues, work stress, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, and more. I also work with clients who do not have mental health concerns but are seeking support or growth in certain areas of life. Taking the first step to seek treatment can seem daunting, so I approach therapy calmly, gently and with empowerment in mind. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most crucial aspects of therapy, so I treat all clients with kindness and respect. I want therapy to be a safe and compassionate place for clients to explore aspects of life without judgement. I enjoy collaborating with people to help them develop their unique abilities, accomplish their goals, and have satisfying lives. Taking a holistic and client-centred approach to a person's well-being is also something I prioritise. In my practice, I incorporate current research and evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and strengths-based interventions. It would be my pleasure to work with you and accompany you on your journey if I sound like the right fit for you.
