Claire McGrath

Claire is a registered General Psychologist passionate about supporting children, young people and adults to build confidence and acceptance in themselves. Claire completed her Masters of Professional Practice at Australian Catholic University. Her particular expertise is in supporting individuals through anxiety, managing low moods, building self-esteem, and navigating friendships and relationships. Claire uses evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, play therapy and mindfulness techniques to support her clients to develop lasting strategies for improved health and wellbeing. Claire is skilled in conducting cognitive, learning, and neurodiversity assessments such as for Specific Learning Disorders, Autism and ADHD. Passionate about delivering support through a collaborative and educational lens, Claire adopts a person-centred, affirming approach to understand client’s unique life, history and needs. With a warm compassionate demeanour Claire advocates for her clients by recognizing their strengths and fostering resilience and well-being. With a keen interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals identified as Autistic, ADHD and/or with Specific Learning Disorders, Claire strives to create a safe space for understanding, exploration, and growth. She works to empower clients to navigate life’s complexities with resilience, purpose and growth for enduring change in a complex world, including individuals seeking to understanding themselves, and managing Autistic burnout. Linda is an Educational and Developmental psychologist . She earned a Bachelor of Psychology (Honors) in London, UK, and a Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology in Melbourne, Australia. Linda has extensive experience working in both private and public settings, including hospitals, schools, and private practices. She has substantial experience in providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She is passionate about helping people optimize their growth and well-being, focusing on areas such as anxiety, depression, learning difficulties, building self-esteem, emotional regulation, and parenting. She also offers interventions for diagnoses like ADHD and Autism. Linda specializes in diagnostic assessment for Specific Learning Disorder (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia), as well as ADHD and Autism. Her treatment approach is person-centered and tailored to suit each client's individual needs. She aims to establish a strong therapeutic relationship, assisting each client in their growth and development, using a strength-based approach. Therapeutic methods she commonly uses include Attachment-Based Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Social Skills training, often incorporating mindfulness techniques. She thoroughly enjoys working with clients and is passionate about helping them develop their inner strengths and thrive in different environments. Outside of her work, she is a mother and enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, reading, cooking, taking nature walks, and traveling.

Sanara is described as a calm and compassionate registered Psychologist who is currently completing her Master of Educational Psychology at the University of Melbourne. She has experience working in private practice, schools, hospitals and in-home support settings. Sanara has also worked within the research setting, exploring the impact of sleep on academic performance and mood in adolescents. She has provided support to children presenting with difficulties related to learning, anxiety, stress, school aversion and emotional regulation by administering psychological assessments (e.g. Autism, ADHD, SLD and ID) and conducting counselling sessions that utilise a strength and play-based approach. Sanara is experienced in working with neurodiverse children and is passionate about using neuro-affirmative approaches to support their needs. Sanara recognises that individuals have unique needs, goals and life experiences so she aims to provide tailored support by working collaboratively with clients and their families. She focuses on building rapport with clients to help them feel safe, heard and understood. When Sanara is not working, she can be found reading a book, baking or spending time with her family and friends.

Sofia is a provisional psychologist who has recently completed her Master of Professional Psychology at La Trobe University. She has experience working with children and adolescents within a school setting, providing counselling sessions utilising Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and conducting psychological assessments. She has worked with clients with a range of presenting problems, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem/body image, emotional regulation difficulties, OCD and neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., Autism and ADHD). Sofia aims to provide a therapeutic environment that is safe and non-judgemental. She is passionate about empowering her clients and their families to make positive changes in their lives. When she is not working, she enjoys attending pilates classes, travelling and spending time with her family, friends and pets.
